The Maryland 1814 Memorial Cannons-- Part 3
Today there are five 6-pdrs. from the fire are mounted on concrete pedestals with the date "1814" imprinted on each one. Two were found during waterfront construction of Fell's Point Recreation Pier.
They were designed by John Appleton, a member of the Society of the War of 1812 in Maryland, the Baltimore Municipal Art Commission and American Institute of Archaeology.
