SAMUEL WILSON (June 7, 1772-November 15, 1862)
Buried in Mustang Cemetery in Shiro, Texas, which has 175 internments.
His marker there lists him as a member of the 3rd Infantry of the Georgia Militia.
2012 marks the 200th anniversary of America's "Forgotten War," the War of 1812 that took place over three years, 1812 to 1815.
